Cheesy Soya Granules

Today I am going to share recipe for "Cheesy Soya Granules". Its quick and easy to prepare. You can have it with rotis or bread. In almost 15-20 min you will have a mouthwatering and sumptuous dish ready on your table. I am using Nutrela Soya Granules for this recipe.

List of Ingredients:

  • Soya Granules-2 cups
  • Cooking Oil-3 tbsp
  • GingerPaste-1tsp
  • Chopped onions -1 cup
  • Chopped capsicum-1/2 cup
  • Chopped tomatoes-1 cup
  • Chopped Green Chillies-2
  • Tomato Puree-2 tbsp
  • Water-1/2 cup
  • Grated Mozzarella -2 cups
  • Salt-2tsp (or to taste)
  • Red Chilli powder-1/2 tsp
  • Garam Masala-1/2 tsp

Steps To Prepare:

Soak Soya Granules in warm water. Keep them aside.

Step 2:
Heat oil in a frying pan. Add ginger paste. Fry it for 4-5 seconds. Add chopped green chillies and onions. Stir fry them till they are golden brown. Add chopped capsicum and stir fry for another 2-3 min. Add tomatoes and stir fry them also. Once all the vegetables are sauté, add tomato puree to it and cook it for another 5 min.

Now squeeze the soaked granules and add them to the vegetables in frying pan. Add salt, red chilli powder and garam masala. Add water to it and cover with a lid for another 5 min.

Remove the lid and sprinkle grated mozzarella on the top and then again cover it with a lid for 1-2 min. This would make the cheese melt on the top. Remove the lid and serve it hot.

Chessy Soya Granules are ready!!! :)

Health conscious people can skip the cheese part ;) as it tastes yummy otherwise also.

In case you want the cheese to be golden brown (as you get in your pizzas and baked pastas), you can transfer the veggies and soya granules in a microwave safe dish and then sprinkle cheese over it. To make it cheesier, you can add more cheese to it as per your choice and bake the dish at 180 degree in a preheated oven for 15 min.

You can also add more veggies of your choice like sweet corns, brocchli etc. or add cottage cheese "paneer" cubes to the initial mixture.
